A child is a gift from God, to be nurtured by a loving family and to be raised in the admiration of the Almighty.  However, right from day one, this evil world has been sacrificing our little ones to either some dead made up god or sacrificing for the sake of convenience.  And right from day one, God has been judging those nations that do so.

Today, we read a host of unsettling articles related to children and the unborn which suggest that children should have the right to die, (euthanasia), which supersedes the desires and wishes of the parent.  We have articles which suggest the government should have control over your children from birth to facilitate their proper education, (read - indoctrination of them). We have articles which show abortion counsellors advising pregnant women to go ahead with late term abortions as the baby will not feel a thing as the doctor jabs their tiny bodies with needles filled with poison and them tears their little bodies limb from limb, (see video below).  All the while some stupid and foolish politician condemns news laws that would protect these little ones from such horrible consequences.

My God, is it no wonder that the God of this universe is about to hand down judgement on this world like nothing ever seen before, nor ever will be again?  As a society, we can't say we didn't see it coming nor can we say we don't deserve it.

Thankfully God has given us a gift of salvation through his only son, Jesus Christ where we can be forgiven of even the most grievous of sins, and where there is a plan of escape from the coming Terrible Day of the Lord. 

Belgian Parliament Posed To Approve Child Euthanasia Law

The Belgian Federal Parliament is reportedly about to expand its controversial "right to die" policies to include access to euthanasia for some gravely ill children. A consensus among members of the legislative body has reportedly formed in support of legislation to allow children to choose to undergo euthanasia in certain dire cases, according to a report in the Belgian daily newspaper Der Morgen, as translated by the Paris-based news agency Presseurop. If child euthanasia is legalized in Belgium, the country would become the first in the developed world to have a law on the books allowing the practice, although the Netherlands has since 2005 not prosecuted doctors who perform euthanasia on some minors as long as the doctors act in accordance with a set of medical guidelines dubbed the Groningen Protocol.

Belgium looks at euthanasia for minors, Alzheimer's sufferers

Belgium is considering a significant change to its decade-old euthanasia law that would allow minors and Alzheimer's sufferers to seek permission to die. The proposed changes to the law were submitted to parliament Tuesday by the Socialist party and are likely to be approved by other parties, although no date has yet been put forward for a parliamentary debate. "The idea is to update the law to take better account of dramatic situations and extremely harrowing cases we must find a response to," party leader Thierry Giet said. The draft legislation calls for "the law to be extended to minors if they are capable of discernment or affected by an incurable illness or suffering that we cannot alleviate." Belgium was the second country in the world after the Netherlands to legalize euthanasia in 2002 but it applies only to people over the age of 18.

Sebelius: Kids 'So Far Behind' by 3rd Grade 'May As Well Drop Out'

Children who don’t get a pre-kindergarten education, ideally from birth to age 5,  might fall behind and “may as well drop out” by third grade, Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius said on Wednesday at an event to garner support for President Barack Obama's $75-billion proposal to increase pre-school enrollment across the country. “We’ve got to make sure that kids by the time they hit kindergarten aren’t so far behind that they don’t ever catch up, and by the third grade they may as well drop out because they’re never going to catch up,” Sebelius said. "That's the snapshot that we have today."

Abortion doctor compares death injection to 'flu shot'

The latest investigative video from the anti-abortion group Live Action unveiled Thursday shows an Albuquerque, New Mexico abortion doctor comparing the injection used to kill a fetus to a flu shot. The shocking video provided to Secrets features recordings from Dr. Carmen Landau, of Southwest Women's Options in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and a counselor employed at the same facility. In the video, the fifth in a series meant to draw attention to the disturbing procedures at abortion clinics highlighted by the recent Philadelphia murder trial of Dr. Kermit Gosnell, Landau tells the investigator acting at a women seeking an abortion that the injection that will kill her baby is "like any shot, you know, like a flu shot, or a vaccine, really." Pelosi Can't Explain Difference Between Gosnell Slayings and Late-Term Abortions

At a Thursday press conference, House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi condemned a bill that would prohibit abortions during the final four months of pregnancy with and exception for when the life and physical health of the mother is at risk. Asked what the moral difference is between what Dr. Kermit Gosnell did to babies born alive and aborting those same infants moments before birth, Pelosi refused to answer. "As a practicing and respectful Catholic, this is sacred ground to me when we talk about this," Pelosi said. "I don't think it should have anything to do with politics." Pelosi falsely claimed the bill that passed out of committee on Wednesday would ban all abortions, when in fact it's simply a prohibition on abortion during the final four months of pregnancy (with an exception for when the life and physical health of the mother is at risk), the point at which science indicates babies can feel pain and some babies can survive long-term if born.

Mike Zullo, the volunteer chief investigator for Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, Ariz., is not letting go. Like a bulldog, he continues to investigate the outrageously bogus “birth certificate” Mr. Obama personally endorsed as his own when it was posted at the White House website a year before the last presidential election. Main Core: A List Of Millions Of Americans That Will Be Subject To Detention During Martial Law

The biometrics boom

The FBI is currently consolidating existing fingerprint records, mug shots, and other biometric data on more than 100 million Americans into a single $1.2 billion database. When it is completed, in 2014, police across the country will theoretically be able to instantly check a suspect against that vast and growing array of data. Law-enforcement officials are enthusiastic about this growing power, while civil libertarians are aghast. A series of Middle-East war will be fought, with many prophecy scholars believing the first of those wars being a war scenario prophesied in the book of Psalms.  In this war the immediate nations bordering Israel will form a coalition/alliance and attempt to wipe Israel off the map.  Those nations will include both Egypt and Jordan, which may seem strange given the current peace accords that currently exist between those nations and Israel. When skeptics despair of Israel’s ability to finalize a peace treaty with the Palestinians, Israel’s peace agreements with two of its Arab neighbors, Egypt and Jordan, are often invoked as proof that success can be reached. But experts and officials say a nuanced look at relations with those two neighbors tells a story of a cold peace that is only growing chillier.

In Jordan, perceived Israeli violations of the status quo of Jerusalem’s holy sites, over which Jordan maintains a custodianship, have angered Amman, and the parliament there recently voted to expel Israeli ambassador Daniel Nevo — a symbolic but resonant step.

The situation in Egypt is even gloomier. Israeli officials tacitly indicate that Israel has grudgingly agreed to forgo the pleasures of normalization with Egypt in order to maintain the tight security coordination with its military establishment, especially at a time when terrorism in Sinai is rampant. Cairo: Cabinet Minister Talks of War with US, Israel

An Egyptian official spoke about war with the United States and Israel during a cabinet meeting officiated by President Mohammed Morsi. Morsi gathered his ministers to discuss a response to Ethiopia's plan to build a dam on the Nile River. According to media reports, ministers were unaware the discussion was being aired live on Egyptian television. California Gender Bending Bills Target Young People

California state lawmakers have been pushing through legislation that blurs gender rules for youth groups, schools, and sports teams. One state Assembly bill, AB 1266, would give teenage boys and girls who "identify" with the opposite sex, full access to sports teams and facilities normally reserved for the opposite gender. That includes showers, bathrooms and locker rooms. Another bill in California's Senate, SB 323, could revoke tax-exemptions for non-profit youth groups like the Boy Scouts and private religious schools that do not embrace homosexuality or gender identity claims. The Pacific Justice Institute has launched a campaign to fight these bills.

Obama Issues Gay Pride Month Proclamation

President Obama has issued his annual proclamation for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) pride month. The president says this month is about "making our country a more perfect union." In the proclamation, Obama reminds Americans of his accomplishments, noting he overturned the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy and led a global campaign to create the only U.N. resolution that protects "sexual orientation." "My administration is a proud partner in the journey toward LGBT equality," the president states in the proclamation. "We have witnessed real and lasting change, but our work is not complete."

The nation of Haiti is in no better situation now than it was right after the devastating earthquake of 2010, as some 67% of the population are going without food for long periods of time.  Haiti has been for many years the poorest and most destitute nation in the Western Hemisphere, and now the situation is even worse.

How can this be, how can one nation be so severely hit with tragedy?  How could a loving God allow so much heartache for one nation?  Unfortunately, Haiti has had a very long history of pagan practices of witchcraft and voodoo, even incorporating such practices into their brand of Catholicism, (of which 80% of the population claim to be).  God has warned that nations that sin grievously against him, which would included practising pagan beliefs, will be judged.  This is the only way to wake up a nation and give them pause to consider what they are doing.  This is the whole point of the coming Tribulation period.

But through it all we here stories of joy, as many Haitians have come to know Christ through these tragic events, and we also know that countless millions will do the same during the dark days of the Tribulation.

2 out of 3 people face hunger as Haiti woes mount

The hardship of hunger abounds amid the stone homes and teepee-like huts in the mountains along Haiti’s southern coast. The hair on broomstick-thin children has turned patchy and orangish, their stomachs have ballooned to the size of their heads and many look half their age — the tell-tale signs of malnutrition. Mabriole town official Geneus Lissage fears that death is imminent for these children if Haitian authorities and humanitarian workers don’t do more to stem the hunger problems. “They will be counting bodies,” Lissage said, “because malnutrition is ravaging children, youngsters and babies.”

Three years after an earthquake killed hundreds of thousands and the U.S. promised that Haiti would “build back better,” hunger is worse than ever. Despite billions of dollars from around the world pledged toward rebuilding efforts, the country’s food problems underscore just how vulnerable its 10 million people remain. In 1997, some 1.2 million Haitians didn’t have enough food to eat. A decade later the number had more than doubled. Today, that figure is 6.7 million, or a staggering 67 percent of the population that goes without food some days, can’t afford a balanced diet or has limited access to food, according to surveys by the government’s National Coordination of Food Security. As many as 1.5 million of those face malnutrition and other hunger-related problems.

Iran is Getting Closer to Nuclear 'Red Line'

We have seen so many articles over the last few months and in recent years which have all said that Iran is near to achieving their intended goal of producing a nuclear weapon.  Well we are still here, and Iran still has no bomb as yet.  But one day soon, that proverbial red-line will be crossed, and action will need to be taken by either Israel alone or with the help of her allies, (eg America).  But that may be easier said than done, as Russia is becoming more involved in Middle-East affairs to the point of purposely standing behind her allies, (Syria and Iran).  In the case of Iran, Russia is is shielding the Iranian nuclear program insisting that the program is for peaceful purposes only.  We're pretty sure Russia says the same thing about her own 8,000+ nuclear warhead arsenal.
Iran is Getting Closer to Nuclear 'Red Line'

Iran is getting closer to reaching the “red line” of nuclear capability set out by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, warned Minister of Strategic Affairs, Intelligence and International Relations Yuval Steinitz on Monday. Speaking to reporters in Jerusalem, Steinitz said Iran is working round the clock to enlarge its nuclear infrastructure with the eventual aim of developing an industry capable of building up to 30 bombs a year. But he said it was biding its time and building uranium-enrichment facilities before making the final push for weapons-grade material. "The Iranians are getting very close now to the red line... They have close to 200 kilos -- 190 kilos (418 pounds) -- of 20 percent enriched uranium," Steinitz said, according to the AFP news agency. "Once they have 250 kilos (551 pounds), this is enough to make the final rush to 90 percent," the level of enrichment required for a nuclear warhead, he said in a presentation to the Foreign Press Association. "It is a matter of weeks or maybe two months to jump from 20 percent to 90 percent with so many centrifuges," said Steinitz.

Putin defends Iran nuke program but pans anti-Israel rhetoric

Russian President Vladimir Putin said Tuesday that Iran’s nuclear program is peaceful, but that its threats against Israel are “unacceptable.” Speaking during a televised press session for reporters at the state-run news agency RT in Moscow, Putin said that he had “no doubt that Iran is adhering to the rules” vis-à-vis its nuclear program and its international commitments. “There’s no proof of the opposite,” he said, according to RT. Putin did, however, criticize the Islamic Republic for rejecting Moscow’s offer to enrich the uranium for Iran’s nuclear program.

Middle East peace talks must succeed to avoid despair, says UK minister

The process towards Middle-East peace continues.  And the warnings are becoming more shrill that if peace is not established right now, then "darkness and despair" will set in, (not to mention war).  Thus, American Secretary of State, John Kerry, has a new plan of action;  Make some effort and inroads on core issues, and leave the status of Jerusalem to last.

He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him. Daniel 9:27 NIV

Middle East peace talks must succeed to avoid despair, says UK minister

"Darkness and despair" was the alternative to John Kerry succeeding in his mission to revive moribund Middle East peace talks, the British foreign office minister Alistair Burt said on Wednesday. On a visit to a West Bank village, Burt acknowledged that expectations of a positive outcome were "very low". But he urged Palestinians involved in grassroots protests against the 46-year Israeli occupation to give their political leaders a "completely free hand" to re-engage with negotiations, saying it was the only way to achieve an independent Palestinian state. "Time is very short," he added, saying the efforts of the US secretary of state still represented the "best chance for a generation, and a generation to come" to end the long-running conflict.

Kerry's plan: Core issues, then gestures, and finally Jerusalem

Senior diplomatic officials in Jerusalem say that U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is set to unveil a gradual multistep peace plan between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. Due to the expected plan, the U.S. has asked the European Union to step back for the time being from its own peace-seeking efforts. At this point, it is unclear whether EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton will nix a planned upcoming trip to Israel and leave the stage for Kerry. Kerry was supposed to visit Israel this week, but delayed his trip, in part to give Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas more time to decide whether to return to the negotiating table with Israel. The U.S. is demanding that Abbas return to negotiations without preconditions, but Abbas has said that Israel must freeze all construction beyond the Green Line, including in Jerusalem, and release around 100 convicted Palestinian terrorists who have been imprisoned since before the signing of the Oslo Accords in 1993. Israel is not willing to accept any Palestinian preconditions for the renewal of peace talks.

Paying for goods and services through fingerprint, palm and iris scanners is the most popular future technology choice for security-conscious shoppers, according to new research* from WorldPay, a global leader in payments processing. One in two people surveyed (49%) stated they would like to have biometric payments, such as fingerprint, palm or iris scanners, far outweighing the popularity of emerging mobile technology options. Thirty per cent would like to use PIN based smartphone payments, 25% online wallets, and 23% are keen to use SMS payments. Paying through social media was the least popular choice, with only 12% expressing they would like to use it. Is the Motorola Electronic Tattoo the Feared Mark of the Beast?

Rebuilding Israel's Temple Mount

The Jews of Israel are coming to the expectation that the third Temple will soon be built, and so are the Palestinians of the same mind.  However, the Palestinians look at the Israeli government's overtures to the religious Jews, (allowing them access to the Temple Mount), as proof of a plan to destroy the Mosque sitting atop of the mount in order to build this new temple.

Bible prophecy makes very clear that there will indeed be a new temple built somewhere in Jerusalem which when completed, will be desecrated by the future Antichrist.

Abbas: Israel Seeks to Build Holy Temple Instead of Al-Aqsa

Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has accused Israel of trying to “destroy” the Al-Aqsa Mosque by allowing Jews to pray on the Temple Mount. In an interview he gave on Thursday to the Saudi-based Al-Watannewspaper, Abbas said that "the Al-Aqsa Mosque is in danger," claiming that Israel prevents PA Arabs from praying at the mosque, while allowing “extremist Jews" to worship there. This, he claimed, is proof that Israel has a "malicious" and dangerous plan to destroy the mosque and rebuild the “false” Holy Temple in its place, as he put it.

It's a good bet that the Roman Catholic Church will be right in the mix when it comes time for the global false religious system to rise to its position of prominence and influence.  The Roman Church has, and continues to be, the major seeker of interfaith unity.  And now the new Pope is making it clear that this is his major mission in life, to bring together the religions of the world, (especially the world’s three biggest monotheistic religions).  And at the heart of it all is the Vatican's goal of setting up this new ecumenical interfaith order in the City of Jerusalem.

Israel-Vatican deal on land use said imminent

Deputy Foreign Minister Ze’ev Elkin was in Rome for high-level negotiations with Vatican officials over several outstanding land and building issues revolving around properties owned by the Holy See in Israel. Elkin visited the Holy See to continue decades-long talks on a comprehensive land deal between Israel and the Vatican, Maariv reported Thursday. Elkin told the Hebrew daily that, after meeting with the Vatican negotiating team and then separately with Pope Francis I, he thought an agreement would be signed by the end of the year, which would pave the way for the new pope’s promised visit to the Holy Land. Elkin’s meetings Wednesday were the first such negotiations in two years. The two main points of discussion revolved around Vatican requests to build two new centers in Israel.

Francis could organise peace meeting between world’s three major religions, in Rome

Israeli government sources claim Francis is apparently thinking of calling a meeting between leaders and faithful of the world’s three biggest monotheistic religions, in Rome, to launch a message of peace, countering violence and the use of God’s name to justify hatred and terrorist acts. The sources say the Pope announced his intention to call a meeting, during an Audience last 30 April. But there was no mention of this in the communiqué the Holy See’s issued after the Audience.  President Peres “told the Pope that there are people who use God’s name to justify terrorism” and religious leaders should “say out loud that God did not give anyone permission to kill their neighbour.” According to the information contained in a summary of the Audience received by the Israeli government, Francis told Peres he “whole-heartedly supported” his appeal against violence and that “he wanted to promote a meeting between religious leaders and faithful of the three major religions” founded by Abraham, “in Rome”. The aim would be to “make people see” that the religions “oppose violence and terrorism.”

The Vatican and Islam

Since Pope John Paul II’s tenure, the Catholic Church has refused to hold Muslim theologians and clergy accountable for the hatred and violence many of them preach. Instead, the Vatican promotes dialogue and mutual understanding at all costs – even at the cost of moral credibility. John Paul II condemned what he called a “culture of death,” referring to the West’s tolerance for abortion and birth control. Yet when faced with a more virulent culture of death – a Palestinian Authority that promotes genocide by teaching children to become suicide bombers – the late pope fell silent. Given Pope Francis’ history and recent actions, Israelis and Palestinians can expect more tired, limp rhetoric about peace that hides Catholicism’s sentimental complacency. When Pope Benedict attempted to challenge Islam in his famous address at Regensburg in 2006, the future pope Francis publicly distanced himself from Benedict’s remarks. As the archbishop of Buenos Aires, Bergoglio said Benedict’s comments “don’t reflect my own opinions,” and “these statements will serve to destroy in 20 seconds the careful construction of a relationship with Islam that Pope John Paul II built over the last 20 years.”

Solar storm could leave Britain without power 'for months'

The risk of a catastrophic solar storm that would leave countries including the United Kingdom and United States without electricity for days or even months will peak in 2015, a new report claims. The study, a joint venture from researchers at Lloyd's of London and Atmospheric and Environmental Research (AER) in the United States, details a dystopian scenario where a shortage of electrical transformers would leave Western nations without electricity for months because of the time needed to build replacements. A solar storm occurs when magnetic fields "loop" out of sunspots, releasing huge amounts of energy. These bursts of "plasma", a superheated, electrically-charged gas, could enter the Earth's own magnetic field and eventually disrupt networks dependent on electricity on the ground.
